Animal Superhero Camp
June 3-6, 9:00am-12:00pm
Does your child dream of being a magical flying unicorn, sneaky ninja cat, or maybe a crime-fighting zebra with teleportation skills? Join us as we bring imaginary characters like these to life!
This four-day camp for Storybook's youngest students will include similar games, stories, and activities as our Rising Stars class. Kids will learn about using their whole body to express themselves, build confidence in speaking and performing, and will spend time creating their very own superhero animal character! We'll invent super powers, design costume pieces, and even have a chance to showcase their creations in a parent showcase during the last day of camp.
The Long Lost Treasure of Long John Jones - Performance Camp

June 21, 5:00pm - Arrive at theater for prep
June 21, 7:00pm - Performance

Spend the week with us learning about stage presence, how to project your voice, and other basic acting skills needed for performances. Each student will receive a small speaking role in the production. This will be a great introduction to what students can expect in a Storybook Theatre performance class.
Campers will rehearse two scenes to be included in a performance on Friday evening.
Campers should bring:
-a snack each day
-a sack meal for dinner on Friday
-a plain red t-shirt
Campers will receive:
-a camp t-shirt
-a script with their lines
-two free tickets for the performance
