Group Voice Classes
Beginning Group Voice
(Ages 7-13)
Mondays
5:00-5:45pm
October 12 - December 7
(no class November 30)
Performance:
December 11 Recital
If you're looking for support for a young singer, this is a perfect place to start. In this class, students will:
-Learn basic music-reading skills
-Build confidence singing independently
-Understand and perform simple 2-part harmony
-Develop rhythm and ear-training skills
-Learn how to follow a vocal score
-Prepare a song for performance at an upcoming recital
This class was designed to be an add-on to Storybook's elementary musical theatre programming, but works as a standalone music education class, as well.
For families who are considering private voice lessons, but aren't sure yet about committing to them, this is a great opportunity for your student to explore music and find out if singing is something they want to pursue!
Cost: $150, but this fall there is an automatic $25 discount for any participants as we launch this new class!

Grownup Group Voice Class (ages 19+)
Stay tuned for the next session of Grownup Group Voice!
Tired of your kid being the only one with an awesome weekly class to attend? Join us to prove to them that parents can do cool stuff, too! We promise to personally tell your kid that you're not "cringe" for attending.
The goal of this group class is to build friendship and community while sharpening music skills together. While it's designed for parents of Storybook students, the class is suitable for any grown-up theater kids who need an outlet and a community (including but certainly not limited to Storybook Alumni students). Participants will be encouraged to attend the Storybook Music End-of-Semester Recitals, after which we'll enjoy a karaoke party and snacks!
Sign up for Grownup Group Voice + a kids production camp or class during the summer semester and save $25. To get this discount, select your child's class and check the "Add Grownup Group Voice" option during registration.
