Summer 2024 - Free trial classes
 

​Join us to find out if theater is right for your family! 

 

May free trial classes are scheduled in time to register for summer activities. July free trial classes are scheduled in time to register for fall activities. Please keep in mind, however, that ALL classes are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. The class you are considering may fill before your free trial date arrives; for this reason, we recommend registering for classes early if you know you want to participate

Rising Stars: Free Trial Class

Age 4-7

May 18 or July 27

10:00-10:30am

​

First time students may join us for a FREE TRIAL CLASS! Rising Stars beginning acting class is a perfect step if your child has never participated in theater before. Utilizing dramatic play, improvisation games, and short scripts, kids will learn about creating a stage presence and using their whole bodies to show emotion - but our goal is for them to have so much fun, they won't even know they're learning!

Acting Antics: Free Trial Class

Age 7-10

May 18 or July 27

11:00-11:45am

First time students may join us for a FREE TRIAL CLASS! Acting Antics will give students a glimpse of what it's like to be in a performance class. In each of our school-year productions, each student receives a speaking role and a character to bring to life! This class will feature short readers theater type scripts and give kids the opportunity to bring characters to life for a morning!

Improv Club: Free Trial Class

Age 10-18

May 18 or July 27

1:00-1:45pm

​

First time students may join us for a FREE TRIAL CLASS! Improvisation, or the art of thinking on your feet, is a very important part of theatre! Students will learn to trust their own instincts, to say “yes, and” to their fellow actors, and to build a strong stage presence, all without the guidance of a script. Everything the students encounter will be new, created in the moment through the help of warm-ups and various improv games.
