Spaces in each class/camp are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Register early to save your spot.

The Wizard of Oz Youth Edition

Ages 4-7 can participate in this show as part of the Stars Monday or Thursday night class - see below. To sign up, you ONLY need to register for the Shining Stars or Shooting Stars class (you do not need an audition time).
Rising Stars: Free Trial Class

First time students may join us for a FREE TRIAL CLASS in May or July to see if theater is the right fit for your family!
May free trial class is scheduled in time to register for summer activities. July free trial class is scheduled in time to register for fall activities. Please keep in mind, however, that ALL classes are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. The class you are considering may fill before your free trial date arrives; for this reason, we recommend registering for classes early if you know you want to participate!
Shining Stars Class - Ages 4-5
Mondays 6:15-7:00pm (May 20-July 8)
or
Thursdays 6:00-6:45pm (May 23-July 11)
or
Fridays 11:15am-12:00pm (June 21-August 9)

Storybook's youngest students, the Shining Stars, have a blast learning about all the fun that theatre can be. Utilizing dramatic play, improvisation games, and short scripts, kids will learn about creating a stage presence and using their whole bodies to show emotion. Popular games and activities in this class include storytelling, action songs, and much more!
Ideal for the beginner actor AND the kid with dramatic flair!
Students participating in this class will have the opportunity to be part of the following productions.
Monday/Thursday classes: full studio production of The Wizard of Oz Youth Edition, July 18-20.
Friday class: camp production of 101 Dalmatians KIDS, August 9-10.

"I Believe I Can Fly"
Superheroes Camp
May 28-31, 9:00am-12:00pm

It's a bird...it's a plane...it's.... whatever your student can dream up! Join us for the first camp of the summer at Storybook, where we'll invent our own superhero characters and the stories that go along with them. There's a whole universe that needs saving!
This four-day camp for Storybook's youngest students will include similar games, stories, and activities as our Shining Stars & Shooting Stars class. Kids will learn about using their whole body to express themselves, build confidence in speaking and performing, and will spend time creating their very own character! We'll talk about character traits, design costume pieces, and even have a chance to showcase their creations in a parent showcase during the last day of camp.

"Do You Believe In Magic?"
Storybook Fairytales Camp
June 17-21, 9:00am-12:00pm

We're all about stories, so let's bring some favorites to life! We will explore the worlds of famous storybook and fairytale characters, and practice bringing the magic of stories to life!
This four-day camp for Storybook's youngest students will include similar games, stories, and activities as our Rising Stars class. Kids will learn about using their whole body to express themselves, build confidence in speaking and performing, and will spend time creating their very own fairytale characters! We can't wait for a magical adventure with all of you! Our character creations will be showcased for parents on the last day of camp!

"We Are The Champions"
Summer Olympics Camp
July 8-12, 9:00am-12:00pm

The summer Olympics are nearly here, and we are excited to host our own Storybook Olympics during this camp! Challenges may include: being the most realistic statue, saying your lines the slowest, costume relay races, and so much more!

We can't wait to create Olympian characters and present them to you in a showcase for parents on the last day of camp!

"Who Let The Dogs Out"
Favorite Pups Camp
August 12-15 9:00am-12:00pm

Anybody out there have a household obsessed with a certain blue cartoon dog? Or a team of pups that's hard at work saving the world? What about dalmatians....101 of them? This camp will bring ALL of these favorites front and center! We may even explore the worlds of some classics (mystery-sleuthing, snack-consuming mutt or lazy Beagle sound familiar??).
This four-day camp for Storybook's youngest students will include similar games, stories, and activities as our Rising Stars class. Kids will learn about using their whole body to express themselves, build confidence in speaking and performing. We will put on a showcase for parents on the last day of camp - featuring dog friends that we have invented ourselves, and also probably some familiar favorites.
