American History Craft Camp

June 3-6, 1:00-4:00pm
$60

This four day camp will focus on a different historical time period each day. At each session, we will have a hands-on learning experience (such as games, craft projects, etc.) based on a different historical time period. We will learn which things have changed for America's children over the last 200 years, and which things have stayed the same.

We are so excited to travel through America's past with our students in this camp!

We plan to study the Revolutionary War, Immigration to America, World War II, and the Great Depression, but these are subject to change.

Registration Deadline: June 1, 2019

During this week-long camp, students will put together a full production - complete with pirates, a shrieking mermaid, crazy crabs ,and much more. They will end the week in a performance for friends and family to attend.

Here's a little bit about what to expect:

  • Increase your onstage presence by learning how to create a believable character.

  • Build public speaking confidence with games that focus on projecting your voice.

  • Learn about stage design (set/costumes/props) by helping to prepare for the production.

  • Enjoy theme days each day of camp (pajama day, crazy socks day, etc.).

  • Speaking roles for each student (non-speaking options available if desired).

  • Performance for friends and family to attend on Friday at 7pm.

  • All costumes provided (with the exception of personal items such as tights/tank tops/etc).

  • Storybook Theatre camp production tshirt.

  • Auditions prior to camp so that campers have time to memorize lines for the performance.

  • 2 free tickets per student for their performance.

  • Additional tickets are $5 each. Invite as many friends/family members as you want!

  • Each Storybook performance is a group effort and we need YOUR help to make everything come together!
