Ages 4-7 can participate in this show as part of the Stars Monday or Thursday night class.. To sign up, you ONLY need to register for the Shining Stars or Shooting Stars class (you do not need an audition time).
Shining Stars Class - Ages 4-5
Mondays 6:00-6:45pm (May 18 - July 6) - no class Memorial Day

Thursdays 6:00-6:45pm (May 28 - July 9)
or
Fridays 11:00am-11:45am (June 26-August 14)
Evenings (7 weeks) - $80 per session
Daytime (8 weeks) - $90 per session
Storybook's youngest students, the Shining Stars, have a blast learning about all the fun that theatre can be. Utilizing dramatic play, improvisation games, and short scripts, kids will learn about creating a stage presence and using their whole bodies to show emotion. Popular games and activities in this class include storytelling, action songs, and much more!
Ideal for the beginner actor AND the kid with dramatic flair!
Students participating in this class will have the opportunity to be part of the following productions.
Monday/Thursday classes: full studio production of Disney's The Little Mermaid, July 16-18.
Friday class: camp production of Disney's Finding Nemo Jr., August 14-15.
Shooting Stars Class - Ages 6-7
Mondays 6:00-7:00pm (May 18 - July 6) - no class Memorial Day

Evenings (7 weeks) - $95 per session

Storybook's 6 and 7 year old students, the Shooting Stars, are always full of energy and big ideas! These students have a partially combined class with the Shining Stars, but have their own separate class time in which they'll create characters and stories to perform in their very own showcase play performance at the end of the semester. Utilizing dramatic play, improvisation games, and short scripts, kids will learn about creating a stage presence and using their whole bodies to show emotion.

Shimmering Stars Class - Ages 4-6
Fridays 10:30am-11:00am (June 26-August 14)

Shimmering Stars will give 4-6 year olds the opportunity to jumpstart their music education in a fun and welcoming environment. Students will be introduced to a variety of instruments they can play themselves, plus explore different aspects of music like rhythm, beat, solfege, and much more. Musical movement will build starter skills to use in musical theater classes in a few years!

"Stomp, Roar, & Explore!"
Dinosaur Camp
June 15-18, 9:00am-12:00pm
$100
Take a journey back to the time of the dinosaurs! Campers will stomp and roar like the fiercest of dinos, and explore imaginative storytelling through movement, music, and acting games. Campers will use make lots of dino-themed crafts, and use costumes, creative play, and their big imaginations to bring friendly dinosaurs and prehistoric adventures to life!
This four-day camp for Storybook's youngest students will include similar games, stories, and activities as our Shining Stars & Shooting Stars class. Kids will learn about using their whole body to express themselves, building confidence in speaking and performing. The camp ends with a fun mini-performance where families can watch their little dinos stomp, roar, and explore on stage!

"Bubbles, Barnacles & Mermaids"
Under the Sea Inspired Camp
June 29 - July 2, 9:00am-12:00pm

Dive deep beneath the ocean waves as we invent all new stories, characters, and worlds in the vast under the sea kingdom! Little performers can become sparkling mermaids, curious sea creatures, friendly ocean explorers, or anything else they can dream up! Be ready for lots of creative crafting, action stories and songs, and much more!
This four-day camp for Storybook's youngest students will include similar games, stories, and activities as our Shining Stars & Shooting Stars classes. Kids will learn about using their whole body to express themselves, build confidence in speaking and performing, and will spend time creating their very own characters and story to showcase for parents on the last day of camp!

"Magical Music & Woodland Wonders"
Music Makers Camp
July 27-30, 9:00am-12:00pm

Off to the forest we go! Campers during this week will explore storytelling through music, creative movement, and playful acting games inspired by woodland creatures and magical forest adventures. Young performers might become dancing fairies, curious foxes, friendly owls, or tiny forest sprites as they bring their own whimsical tales to life.
This four-day camp for Storybook's youngest students will include similar activities as our Shining Stars and Shooting Stars classes. Kids will learn about using their whole body to express themselves, build confidence in speaking and performing. We can't wait to create characters and present them to you in a showcase for parents on the last day of camp!

"Tiny Tinkers & Curious Creators"
Scientists & Inventors Camp
August 3-6 9:00am-12:00pm

It's time for those imaginations to soar! Campers will test wacky inventions and explore big scientific ideas through creative movement, music, and playful acting games. These young performers might become curious lab scientists, brilliant inventors, space explorers, or engineers building the next great invention. Through storytelling and hands-on imagination, they’ll experiment with cause-and-effect, problem-solving, and teamwork.
This four-day camp for Storybook's youngest students will include similar games, stories, and activities as our Shining and Shooting Stars class. Kids will learn about using their whole body to express themselves, build confidence in speaking and performing. We will put on a showcase for parents on the last day of camp - featuring the characters and inventions our students have created during camp!
