A bit like the classic story, “that Beast guy” was once a handsome prince — before being cursed by an old woman for being such a poor student!  The hairy dude and his servants, now collaterally cursed as common household items, become cut off from the world.  That is, until Belle, fleeing the advances of pompous Gastoff and in search of a Dairy Queen, finds a castle and a Beast in need! As Gastoff and his sniveling pals set out after Belle, Beast warms to the kindhearted Belle, who teaches him to read and write.  When vainglorious Gastoff arrives, he finds that Belle is no captive of Beast, but rather captivated by his newfound literacy!

A melodramatic examination of the most doomed love story of all time, Romeo & Juliet (for kids) will stage many dramatic deaths among two rival families: the Capulets and the Montagues. The star-crossed lovers manage to fall in love with each other in spite of an epic family feud, but don't worry - they seal the deal with a high five (no kissing in this version)! A queen puts her subjects to the test:  who will move the large boulder from the road?  Anyone kind enough to move the stone will be handsomely rewarded with a job as royal counselor to the queen!  A host of wacky characters pass through the scene as the queen and her faithful servant, Barcarole, watch from a hiding place to see who will be unselfish.  Join these characters as they come to see how actions, not complaints, often get a job done in this playful adaptation.  This well-known fairytale entertains children of all ages while teaching the importance of helping others.
