Shooting Stars
Shining Stars and Shooting Stars have a combined class, featuring the songs, games, and stories that we love! These students have a blast learning about all the fun that theatre can be. Utilizing dramatic play, improvisation games, and short scripts, kids will learn about creating a stage presence and using their whole bodies to show emotion. Popular games and activities in this class include storytelling, action songs, and much more!
All Shining Stars and Shooting Stars theatre classes will have the opportunity to participate in Storybook's musical theatre production of "Disney's Moana Jr." this fall - November 5-7, 2026.
IMPORTANT: Weekly classes will be held at Christ Chapel in Platte City, MO. Performance week rehearsals and performances in Disney's Moana Jr. will be held at Storybook's main location - The City House, 14300 US Highway 40, KC, MO 64136
Ideal for the beginner actor AND the kid with dramatic flair!
Classes are once per week for the full semester.
